About the project

KinaDB is a database of protein-kinase structures, their activation states, and kinase-targeting drugs — built to make the handful of facts that matter most about a kinase legible at a glance.

Resolving discrepancies in kinase activity labels using machine learning

EL Moumni, M. · Preprints 2025, 2025060609.

A machine-learning approach to reconciling conflicting Active / Inactive activity labels across kinase structures — the basis for the activation-state classification methodology used throughout KinaDB.

How the site is built

Every page is generated from three datasets rather than hand-authored: a structures table, a per-structure detail record, and a kinase-inhibitor drugs table. Read the methodology for how activation state is classified, the documentation for what each field means, or head to downloads to work with the raw data.
